Wednesday, May 26 - Guitar Hero and more!

Today my cousing, Lauren and Will, invited us over to their house to play Guitar Hero with them. Miguel and I had never played, but we were up for the challenge. Lauren and Will were patient with us and we had an all-around good time learning to be musicians. Check it out!

We started by watching. Lauren played the guitar and Will played the drums.

Will belted out a great version of Heartbreaker and played the drums. Impressive!

Then it was Miguel's turn to learn to play the bass guitar
Luego le toco a Miguel aprender a tocar el bajo

After an afternoon of musical fun we decided to run out to the Mexican Market and pick up some (expensive!) sweet bread...

Despues de una tarde de diversion musical decidimos salir al mercado mexicano para comprar pan dulce (y bien caro!)

...then we headed back to the Simon's house where we indulged in our purchases. Sadly, we were disappointed in the sweet bread and agreed that we should have introduced Miguel to Krispy Kreme instead. Oh, well, maybe next time.

...despues regresamos a la casa de mis primos para comer el pan. Tristemente, nos decepciono el pan y dijimos que hubieramos ido mejor a las donas Krispy Kreme para que Miguel las conociera. Bueno, ni modo. Tal vez para la otra.
